Marketing Distribution

The Marketing Distribution is another important part of the Marketing Strategy within the Marketing Plan. This part of the Business Plan that looks at what method you intend to use to reach your customers.

Distribution

Are your customers a consumer, a distributor, a corporate entity, are they international etc.

This of course, determines how your customer will receive the product or service. Be detailed about how your customers are going to purchase the products. For example, if your product is aimed at the end consumer, is this going to be through your own shop, through department stores, boutiques etc. and/or are they going to be sold on the internet also.

It may also be the case that you are selling direct to the consumer, but also selling to a wholesaler or distributor.

These will give you different target markets. You will need to consider all of them and apply the above for each.
